About

Hi, I'm Sam. Welcome to my site.
I'm the author of three books: Cult of the Great Eleven, The Apocalypse Script, and the Ardoon King.
A little background (I assume that's what these "About" pages are...well, about): I've got a B.S. in Political Science. I spent about a decade as a military cryptographer and intelligence analyst; spent some time in law school before deciding I really didn't want to be a lawyer; then worked for awhile as a private investigator and researcher. I've spent the past two decades working primarily as project and operations manager, often in the Middle East and Southwest. Oh, and I've spent a lot of time writing, of course. Writing is my passion but doesn't yet pay the bills. Maybe someday it will. And maybe someday I'll win the lottery. Either would be just fine..
I have a real passion for history. The stranger and more obscure the history, the better. I also enjoy book collecting, military simulation gaming, logic puzzles, silent film, reading, and absurdly strong coffee. My favorite authors include Raymond Chandler, Jorge Louis Borges, and H.P. Lovecraft.
I love to hear from readers. There's a Contact page lurking around here somewhere. Feel free to use it.
Or just think happy thoughts. It's all good.
Regards,
S.F.
