Locations formerly utilized by members, victims, or associates of the Divine Order of the Royal Arms of the Great Eleven, in and around Los Angeles, U.S.A., 1917-1930​

Note that there are still buildings at most of these locations, but these building are no longer affiliated with the the cult of the Great Eleven in any way.  The cult effectively became defunct in 1930, though remnants persisted for two decades more, primarily in the Simi Valley, Lake Tahoe, and Sacramento.

This is a scan of a 1925 map of Los Angeles. The top blue circle marks 355 S. Grand Ave., at the intersection of 4th, where the angel Gabriel first supposedly appeared to May Otis and Ruth Wieland. The lower circle is the location of the Rose Room Dance Hall, at the corner of Spring and 8th, where Ruth danced for money.

1904 Argyle, Los Angeles: In the 1932 Los Angeles directory, this was the location of the Church of Divine Science of Joshua, with Ruth identified as minister. In 1929, this building was in use by the Temple Israel of Hollywood.

1028 South Olive Street, Los Angeles: The location of the Walter J. Blackburn Publishing Company, May’s Blackburn's first printing facility. On February 6, 1925, the City Prosecutor wanted to know how May could afford to run a press at this address.
