In November, if all goes well, I'll be releasing the audiobook production of "The Mysterious Miss Empress."  The narration is being performed by the wonderful and talented Miss Amy Putt, of Surrey, U.K.

I have been waiting a long time for someone to publish some facts about Marie Empress, I've been researching my family tree and have a copy of a letter sent to my Great Grandmother from 'her affectionate niece, Marie'. In the letter she lists the latest four films that she has been involved in and they are waiting for them to com to London. You have verified these in your book Although not dated, it makes reference to wounded boys so think @ 1917. I have found records to
support our link. She was indeed a Taylor born in Birmingham @1886.

That's spectacular, Janice! I'll email you to get the specifics. Thank you so much for writing. Perhaps we're about to solve a century-old mystery, and, appropriately, almost a hundred years to the day that Marie disappeared! - Sam
